ABOUT HEXHAM FARMERS MARKET LIMITED
Hexham Farmers Market is a long established market in the heart of the historic town of Hexham in Northumberland. Our producers come from within a 50 mile range of the town and they are all passionate about what they do. They make the products themselves using a high percentage of locally produced ingredients, so the meat you buy at Hexham Farmers' Market is reared by the producer and the vegetables are locally grown. Bread is made with a high percentage of locally produced flour and cakes will contain local eggs.
Christmas is just round the corner and our producers are committed to bring you the very best products from across Northumberland Cumbria and the North East, all within our 50 miles radius. Working with the Hexham Community partnership we have our very popular Christmas Market on Saturday 9 December, running between9am and 3pm. Beaumont Street in Hexham will be closed, there will be lots of music, we have our full complement of producers and about 70 other stalls selling Christmas gifts, crafts and food. You'll be able to have a look at some real reindeer and iit's always a great event. You can find more details
Hexham Farmers' Market takes place every second and fourth Saturday of the month, but in December 2017 things are a little different: we'll be having three markets on consecutive Saturdays. The big Hexham Christmas Market is on Saturday 9 December and we also have markets on the 16th and the 23rd. On the 16th we'll be joined by the Tarset Song Reivers choir to provide us with some additional festiveness. Markets on the 16th and 23rd run between 9am and 1.30pm. Our first market in 2018 is on January 13.
All our strallholders make the products they sell themselves, they rear the livestock and grow the plants. With secondary products live jams and chutneys, you can expect many of the ingredients to be grown within close reach of Hexham too.
