The team has a combined experience of over 50 years in the property industry and has maintained a close relationship with many of the major Landlords, Suppliers, Relocation Agents and Employers to ensure we are constantly arranging quality tenancies.
We are members of ARLA and ahead to their code of conduct. ARLA has over 7,200 individual members, representing 3,500 member offices throughout the UK including large multi-branch national companies as well as the smaller single office practices. Membership is achieved only by agents who demonstrate that they have a thorough knowledge of their profession and that they conduct their business according to current best management practice.
ARLA have the ability to make discretionary grants if you suffer financial loss due to the bankruptcy or dishonesty of the member or their firm.
Clem Woodward MARLA
Clem started his property career in 1989 at the tender age of 17, working as a weekend negotiator for a large corporate estate agency chain, in Taunton. Climbing his way through the ranks and experiencing employment for several different agencies throughout Somerset Clem ran his first branch at 27. After managing both residential sales, lettings and financial services teams, Clem was approached after 14 years in the industry to run as a managing director of his first letting agency. Clem met his wife Lorraine and now has 3 growing boys. This local firm soon acquired 2 further letting agencies and thus one of the largest agencies in the south west was created. During this time Clem became professionally qualified by ARLA and has been a member since 2006. Clem’s hobbies are Rugby, and as well as supporting Exeter Chiefs he is a coach at Taunton RFC! He loves motorsport, cars, football (by default), cooking and looking after his pets (1 dog and 2 cats!)
Lorraine brings to the team a wealth of property experience spanning 30 years, predominately in Sales covering London, Essex, Bristol and Taunton. Having management experience and great people skills, to bring to the table to assist Clem Woodward to be successful and unique Letting Agent, concentrating on customer care and providing a bespoke service for Landlords, whilst responding to the needs of Tenants.
A busy family life continues outside of the workplace, taxi driver to the children, to sporting events, visiting friends, and keeping Clem Woodward’s feet firmly on the ground.
I joined Clem Woodward Lettings in July 2013 after moving down from Yorkshire. I manage the Maintenance Department and ensure that anything from a leaky tap to a leaky roof are taken care of in the correct manner as quickly and efficiently as is possible. I have also managed a number of refurbishment projects working alongside landlords preparing the property ready for the new tenants.
With years of professional and practical management together with my skills, knowledge and attitude developed over a period of years, I feel I direct them to the best effect whilst working with a team to deliver a friendly and efficient service at Clem Woodward Lettings.
I am an outgoing and approachable person who has pride in doing a job well. I love the sea and the sunshine and In my free time I like to visit the coast, walk in the countryside, visit the gym and enjoy time with my family.
I joined Clem Woodward Lettings as a business and administration apprentice, to gain experience in a profession environment. Originally from Poland, I moved to England in 2012 as an au pair, where I was able to study English and learn more about the English culture. I then moved on to be a supervisor in a tea room where I built up my customer service skills and knowledge of a fast paced business.
I joined Clem Woodward Lettings in April 2017 to work in the Maintenance department alongside Mary and have already got stuck in to the busy nature the job brings! I have had some Property Maintenance experience in the commercial sector and have therefore dealt with Tenants, Landlords and Property queries. In my spare time I enjoy the Performing Arts, attending Music Festivals and spending time with family and friends.
I joined Clem Woodward Lettings in November 2016, as a Senior Accounts Administrator, having known and used the Company for a number of years as a Landlord myself. I have a BTEC in Business & Finance and have experience working in finance/accounts in Taunton for over 25 years. In my free time I paint seascapes & landscapes, and am a big sports fan. I especially enjoy watching football and Arsenal F.C. is one of my passions.
I have been at Clem Woodward's since May 2014, covering the telephones and dealing with enquiries every Saturday morning. The rest of the week I assist my husband on our dairy farm just outside Taunton. In my spare time I enjoy horse riding.
I carry out the mid term inspections for all the managed residential properties within Clem Woodward Lettings. My past responsibilities have embraced me with a broad base of skills and knowledge of which I am able to transfer whilst maintaining the important communicative links between the tenant, landlord and Clem Woodward Lettings. In my free time I enjoy walking, gardening, most sports and spending time with my family.
