Sittingwell Ltd was created by two back care experts, fuelled by a genuine passion to help people look after their backs, relieve pain and prevent damage.
We are Lorna Kennard and Rachael Wall – the founders of Sittingwell and driving force behind the business. We feel we’re well positioned to do what we do.

Why did we launch Sittingwell?
Well, over the years we have come across countless occasions where patients have bought products to help their back problem, only to find that they stop using them after a short period.
The reasons are usually because it aggravated their back problem rather than helped it or it simply wasn’t the right thing for them.
This resulted in frustration for the patient and for us as practitioners because we felt there was a better way. With the right information, the correct product and our stamp of approval, we felt these situations could be avoided more often – and so Sittingwell was born.
So many of our clients had told us that their sofas were making their back worse and if anything, aggravating their issue.
We didn’t just want to present a bunch of back relief aids on a website and leave it at that – what would be the point as people could still choose the wrong product? Our idea was to show how to get the best out of each item so people don’t buy a succession of goods that don’t help them, saving money and getting full benefit from their purchases.
We created a series of informative videos because, let’s face it, when you buy off the internet it is something of a gamble because you can’t test it, feel the texture or test it out. We try and fill that void by demonstrating precisely how you should use your product so you get full value and benefit.
