year. Many of our clients contract with us for a period of years, with many others requiring shorter term contracts to meet their needs. Our infection control specialists work across the spectrum of bandings for specialist nurses – from band 7 – band 8b – depending on the services required by clients. Some clients require us to work as members of an existing team. We may be requested to lead and develop an existing team and we may be required to establish a service where none currently exists – this has been demonstrated most clearly in Clinical Commissioning Groups over the past 3 years.

If you are a Health Care Service Provider and would like some help in this area then
The most effective way that we add value to your business model is by helping you ensure that your cleaning staff are properly trained and aware of the key issues in respect of Infection Control and cleaning and hygiene management. The needs of Health and Care providers to satisfy the cleanliness standards of the Care Quality Commission under ‘the 5 key lines of enquiry’ specifically ‘SAFE’. Cleanliness and Infection Control is becoming increasingly important and has been the subject of recent media coverage. The CQC will be auditing all Primary Care and Social Care premises over the next two years under their newly devised inspection model, which came into full effect in April 2015, this will provide even greater visibility where there are failings. The responsibility for ensuring these standards are met clearly remains with the management of the actual care provider. However, where they outsource their cleaning management, it is highly likely that they will increasingly look to the company providing these services for assurance that they truly understand the requirements and that their staff have been appropriately trained.
