Dana Levy has been designing and making luxury costume jewellery and accessories for over 12 years. Dana’s love and natural instinct for jewellery design stems from her family heritage within the jewellery industry. Her grandfather, who was born in Persia and eventually settled in Jerusalem, established the family roots within the industry as a diamond and precious stones dealer. He travelled the world supplying exquisite gemstones to many.
As a child, Dana enjoyed spending long summers with her grandparents in the spiritual city of Jerusalem. She would spend many afternoons watching her grandfather at work and helping him sort gemstones in sizes and colours using his fine elegant jewellery tools. Each year, Dana also received beautiful original pieces of jewellery as birthday gifts from her grandfather, each of which incorporated his chosen gemstones. Many of these special pieces influence Dana’s collections today.
