Taste Croatia Deli is a family owned company, based in London. It unites love for both countries we come from, Croatia and UK with the passion for both cultures, their gastronomy and people.
We share this passion for Croatian gastronomy and its numerous unique flavours with producers from Croatia, as well. That is what inspired us to present best of the best Croatian products to the UK market back in 2010 when we started a company and entered London’s famous Borough Market.
Sourcing quality products from the finest producers in Croatia and presenting them to the people in UK, this was the mission. Quality of the products, our knowledge and passion were recognized and from a little stall in Borough Market we grew up to a deli shop, officially opened in May 2013.
Along with the Taste Croatia shop in London we’ve opened a web shop so our products can reach customers across UK.
Croatia is a small country of many varieties. We aim to provide a bit of everything, such as olive oil or fig jams from Dalmatia, truffles from Istria, wine from Croatian islands or Kulin (sort of spicy Croatian chorizo) from the inland, from Slavonia. This is the way Croats eat: a little bit of everything that connects all the flavours from their beautiful country.
Being the pioneers of Croatian tastes in the UK, we strive to ensure our regular and new customers have the finest Croatian products all year round.
We are proud to give our customers a full experience in our shop. You can taste Croatian products there, learn something about Ana Maria’s beautiful motherland from Chris who fell in love with everything that is Croatian, and buy the finest products. Once you Taste Croatia, you’ll fall in love as well.

Nowadays, Croatia is becoming well known on the worlds oenological map. But what is less known is country’s old tradition of winemaking. The seeds of the vine and olive trees recently found on the island of Hvar were proved to date back to the time before Greek colonization, to 9th century BC.
Winemaking and gastronomy are a great part of Croatian tradition and culture and anyone visiting will enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience of both.
We are confident that you will fall in love with Croatia and return feeling relaxed, enlightened and wanting to go back again and again.
Until you visit Croatia we will be happy to welcome you either in the shop or online and give you some recommendations, good insights and offer you some of the best products from this small and beautiful country and give you a Taste of Croatia.
