Tim is the third generation of the Marriott family to enter into the wine trade. Formerly a manager of a local supermarket, Tim joined Taste Fine Wines in 1990 alongside brother Simon and mother Anne.
He has since helped the business expand through the years and built their client list to over 30 licenced restaurants, hotels and pubs, of which we supply on a weekly basis. In more recent years Tim has been awarded the silver diploma as a specialist in Havana cigars, which has helped us become one of only a few companies within the UK that can offer such an extensive cigar range.
He has been paramount in the success of Taste Fine Wines by helping wife Anne and youngest son Simon originally set the business up, and now continues to work alongside eldest son Tim in the day to day running of things.

Taste Fine Wines are a renowned family-owned independent wine and spirit wholesaler in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We specialise in all varieties of wines and are very proud of our knowledge and connection with the industry. We are also a gin specialist. With over 120 different gins quickly available and more at 48 hours notice, we can find any gin that you may want to try or have fallen in love with.
At Taste, we stock many of the world’s finest drinks from prestigious and respected brands. But also sell small independent wines and gins from local suppliers and far-flung vineyards and distilleries.

Taste Fine Wines are family run business based in Huddersfield. Operations are run from our shop in Almondbury where we provide sales to the general public and a trade service for local restaurants and pubs. We also run bars for private events and outside functions such as birthdays, weddings, and corporate gatherings.
