The business was established in 1998 by Peter Waldron, the business was formerly known as Glyn Garage, situated at Glyn Terrace, Tredegar. He started the business from previous experience at a dealership and his own knowledge of the truck industry to start up his own haulage business.
The garage was used to undertake service and repairs on his own haulage vehicles. He was then approached by local and surrounding companies within the area and was asked to undertake the maintenance contracts on their company vehicles. Following the move from Glyn Garage, Alistair renamed the company as Waldron Commercials to incorporate the family name. He decided to take over the business as he wanted to implement his high standards and attention to detail. due to the increased work load and customer demands the business was moved to the larger site on Tarfarnaubach Ind estate in Tredegar.
