Mercia Case Management
Mercia Case Management Ltd offers a cost effective, bespoke and client-centred service to survivors of acquired brain injury. Having worked in the field of case management since 2000 we believe that we have the experience to provide a professional goal led approach to addressing the challenges associated with this type of injury.
We work in partnership with the client, family and all professionals to develop an individual rehabilitation and care package that provides the client with a more socially enriched and independent life.
Although working outside of the medico legal framework Mercia Case Management Ltd are fully aware of the need for an open and honest relationship with all legal professionals involved in the case. Following referral we are able to provide initial assessments reports and, once instructed, work with each individual referrer to provide the type of continuing information you find most useful.
Why Mercia Case Management?
Each individual referred to the company will be allocated a bespoke case manager who is best suited to their needs and personality. We pride ourselves in having a mix of case managers and staff from various disciplines that together enable the team to discuss cases and provide solutions to client issues with a more holistic and multidisciplinary approach.
Mercia Case Management Ltd has experience in compiling Witness of Fact Statements and giving evidence in Court.
Mercia Case Management Ltd adheres to the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM) standards of practise.
Carole Murray - Company Director
Carole has worked in the field of Acquired Brain Injury since 1995, from 2000 as a Brain Injury Case Manager. She established Mercia Case Management Ltd in 2008 and now employees a second full time case manager and part-time PA.
She has worked with adults, adolescents and young children with Acquired Brain Injury and currently manages a small case load as well as working in the Company Directors role.
Sarah joined Mercia Case Management in 2013 as a case manager.
Simon joined Mercia Case Management in 2017 as a case manager.
Tracy joined Mercia Case Management in 2010; she worked in the charity sector before this, both as a secretary and face-to-face with service users. Tracy worked voluntarily for many years as a counsellor for SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) as well as running the local support group offering help and advice to those experiencing the death of a baby.
Tracy is working towards a Health and Social Care degree with the Open University and has passed several courses that benefit her in her role at Mercia Case Management. Tracy has her Health and Social Care Certificate.
Tracy believes in a person-centred approach in her work with both clients and their families. She strives to provide an excellent service in a friendly, approachable manner.
Wendy joined Mercia Case Management as a Case Manager Assistant in April 2017.
With a Head Office situated on the outskirts of Worcester, Mercia Case Management Ltd has access to several motorway networks including M5, M6, M40 and M42 giving a wide geographical coverage. We are aware of the need to be available to our clients and adhering to cost effective support, we therefore limit ourselves to working within a two hour travel distance by car from Worcester.
We are able to access both East and West Midlands,Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and the M5 corridor.
