BSL Link for Communication was set up by Stewart Bailey who is himself a profoundly Deaf BSL user and understands the importance for Deaf and hearing people, to have access to fully qualified sign language interpreters.
All interpreters used by BSL Link for Communication are registered with the National Register of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD). As such they are committed to the NRCPD’s Code of Conduct and Guidelines of Professional Practice.

This is to ensure the interpreter is able to process the meaning of dialogue accurately and impartially when producing BSL from spoken English and/or a Voice Over into spoken English from BSL. These skills need to be transferred in a wide variety of settings with adults and children of all language abilities.
