They based the come back on the principals that made Truman’s great, starting with making great beer once again and having a profound respect for pubs and pub culture.
We might never be the largest brewer in the world again, but biggest has never been best. We're proud to be the small brewery with the big name.
The return of Truman’s to East London in August 2013 saw us settle in the Eyrie – the term for an Eagle’s roost – in Hackney Wick. Situated just a stroll down the Roman Road from the original brewery site in Brick Lane, we are proud to have brought Truman's back to the heart of East London.
In 2010 Truman’s was reborn by a team of two. We have now assembled a crack squad of just over 20 beer lovers who are involved with brewing, delivering, selling, marketing, accounting and making Truman’s as great as possible. We all do our fair share of long hours and stressful moments, but it’s all worth it when we sit down after a long day, grab a pint and look back at how far we have come.
Come to the Blindside Charity Launch next Wednesday 31st January at The Globe Tavern in Borough Market where we will be kickstarting our charitable partnership with School of Hard Knocks. All sales of Blindside on the night will go towards tackling issues surrounding unemployment, health and crime. The beer will be on from 5PM so come down and help support this brilliant cause with ourselves and the School of Hard Knocks team!
We've been working with Thirst to redesign all of our 2018 pumpclips. We're loving the new look so much we thought we would share some of our favourites that will be making an appearance in the first few months of the year.
Tomorrow’s TruRib is kicking off at 5pm and we’ve got a special cask of Roll Out The Barrel ready to go with added vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg to recreate eggnog in a beer. We’ve also opened up extra indoor space to help get everyone out of the cold! So still bring a jacket for the match, but you can take it off when you get to ours. https://us10.campaign-archive.com/?u=fabad037c779243cc897331f9&id=af8b5a489a
