Established in 1934 Tyne Gangway (Structures) limited has gained an enviable reputation as a successful company with excellent manufacturing techniques and customer service. The company specialises in the design and manufacture of aluminium gangways, accommodation ladders, shore based pedestrian access equipment, special structures, and has a Worldwide customer base, operating in Europe, Australia, Brazil, Asia and the MIddle East and to name a few.
Tyne Gangway is now able to offer clients a design and manufacturing service for such items as radar mast, hatch covers and footbridges together with the existing product range. All of the companies standard ranges of ships access equipment, accommodation ladders and gangways are all approved by the major classification societies and regulatory bodies.
One of the company’s main lines is the repair and replacement of existing accommodation ladders, a particular facet of which the company’s ability is to adapt it’s own design extrusions to replace existing access equipment with the result that expensive installation costs are avoided.
