Tyne Valley Plastics are unique within our industry in that we have three experienced plastic professionals available to give advice on both Component and Tooling Design. Each of our experts have their own areas of expertise which enables the company to manage many projects at one time.

I produce draught excluders for chimneys and Tyne Valley Plastics have tooled and manufactured the handles and clamps. I’ve been really pleased with them, they have done much more than just provide a tooling and manufacturing service, but have gone the extra mile to make sure the product design and quality was right before mass producing them. They offer a friendly and flexible service, and I highly recommend them. I was advised by several individuals to get the tooling and manufacturing done in China. The first drafts of the product were not quite right and needed a bit of tweaking to ensure the design was strong enough and the appropriate type of plastic was used. It would have been much harder to do this with an overseas manufacturer and the result at the end would have been a poorer quality product and / or a waste of money.
We have used Tyne Valley Plastics for a couple of years now for a number of products, nylon moulds and over moulding. On each occasion they have been willing to work with us from the design stage which has proved very beneficial as we have been able to come up with solutions that we would not have thought of on our own.
In terms of delivery of products they have been responsive and do their best to meet our deadlines, typically ‘asap’!
