Primetime Retirement
(formerly Living Time) is a specialist product provider and we have been solely focused on the retirement income market since we launched in 2006. We offer fixed term income plans ranging from three to six years. All of our products have known outcomes giving certainty to retirees for the duration of the plan chosen.
All of our products are held in a SIPP wrapper to give greater flexibility and control. Plan holders are free to transfer their funds without penalty at the end of the term. One example of this is that we allow plan holders to switch off their income during the term and switch it on again if their income needs change or they slip in to a higher tax bracket and want to mitigate this.
We continually strive to offer the best value to clients. We are highly competitive for funds ranging from £20,000 (net of any PCLS) upwards. Funds in our deposit product are protected by the FSCS up to £85,000 per deposit taker.

Kim Lerche Thomsen | Founder & CEO Primetime Retirement
Kim founded Living Time (now known as Primetime Retirement) back in 2006 and launched a Fixed Term Annuity in to the UK market. Previously, Kim founded Prudential Annuities and was also CEO of Scottish Amicable.
Dave joined KR Group in 2013 to spearhead wider corporate development across the B2B area of the business. He has a wealth of industry experience having worked for a number of major brands, including Distribution & Channel Marketing Director at Prudential.
Rob joined KR Group in January 2017 as Chief Financial Officer and was a key member of the team that sold the business to Partners Group. Rob has responsibility for a number of back office departments including finance, personnel, property, data, MI and change management. Previously, Rob held senior finance positions at the AA, where he was part of the team that listed the business on the London Stock Exchange, and Saga, where he first started working with products for the over 50’s.
Jill Eccles | Head of Operations Primetime Retirement
Jill has 23 years of Financial Services industry knowledge and experience. Previously she was on the Senior Management Board of a bespoke SIPP provider responsible for the day-to-day operations, compliance and product/system development and implementation before joining Primetime as Head of Operations in 2014.
Mike has been in Financial Services for over 35 years, including nine years spent with Partnership helping them to enter the Equity Release market by spearheading the development and launch of their product proposition.
Stuart has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, working for a range of well-known brands including Friends Provident and Just Retirement. He also worked for Living Time and helped relaunch the business as Primetime Retirement in 2012.
The Astute team are all highly motivated and committed to what they do. Since joining the profession, Andy has been committed to raising the standards of advice provided within the Financial Service Sector and is a former Chairman and existing committee member of the Personal Finance Society in Manchester.
Retirement can be a time of significant change in life and here at Primetime Retirement we felt that income products in later life needed to reflect this. We have been long campaigning for more options in retirement and the Pension Freedoms back in 2015 were a significant step in the right direction.
We believe that many retirees require certainty of outcome for part or all of their pension fund and we only offer products that deliver this goal. With a Primetime product comes the certainty of income (if chosen), maturity amount at the end of the term, and death benefit if this occurs during the term.
We have and continue to innovate in terms of product design to bring simple, effective solutions to help financial intermediaries offer more options to their clients and to ensure clients are not locked in to long term products that may not be able to evolve to meet their changing needs through retirement
