Venture Banners was started in January 2009 with the clear mission of making large format print available to the jobbing printer, enabling him to add this lucrative market to his existing portfolio of services.
With large-format machines costing upwards of half a million pounds, a print partner was needed and in the same way a telecoms company will negotiate with BT based on the promise of volume Scott and Wayne did the same with the UK’s premier large-format printers.
Starting out from an office in Scott’s garage it was only a matter of months before additional staff and a proper office environment was required. In November 2009 the now team of five moved into a very nice office in Chelmsford. As the business grew, so did the team and it was only another eighteen months before there were nine people handling a business turnover of close to a million pounds.
Six months of pure stress and massive expense followed as finance, premises, staff and equipment were sought and a production facility capable of massive volumes was created, literally from scratch.
Today, the recipe Venture started with still holds true, excellent service and a superb product you can make a tidy profit on. There are now multiple machines and twenty two people from production staff to web developers who are dedicated to working in the background to give all printers the opportunity to benefit our economies of scale to build a large-format revenue-stream.
We ordered an Impact Hop Up and Counta Stand to promote our services at a local exhibition and we looked the business! The products are great quality and so easy to assemble! Thank you for quick turnaround too!
I can't praise the team at Venture Banners too much. When we first started to place orders with them we were placing multiple orders on behalf of one of our more demanding clients. Client was over the moon with the finished results, as mentioned we were asked to go in and rectify a previous suppliers errors after they had used a whole host of materials that were just wrong for the job.. had the print from yourselves in super fast time, which meant we could get all sorted and back to normal for the client without disruption to their business - (sign was removed, stripped, cleaned and re-laid overnight with the installation the following morning before opening) the result - we have just become supplier of choice for them, landed a whole load more of design work and they appear to be telling everyone about us.. advertising I couldn't pay for!So a huge thank you for helping get this sorted and turning the print around so quickly for me - it just proves that if you use quality products and know what you're doing you can get right, first time!
