My Porrima story
I set up Porrima back in 2008 after having an idea of developing a Proposal Management tool. Since then, Porrima has grown gradually and I’m very proud to say that we are working with customers of all shapes and sizes, including some of the most established telecoms partners in the UK.
After having completed a Master’s degree on research and statistical methodology, I joined Porrima in 2011 to head up its burgeoning Data Analysis Team. Being a stickler for accuracy, the role of overseeing all the mobile and fixed line analysis that we do is a perfect fit for me! I am very proud of how our Tariff Analyser has developed into an extremely powerful and effective tool, and how the data analysis arm of the business has grown. I love hearing from our customers that our analysis service helps win them deals and retain more custom.
I began working for Porrima in 2013 when I joined the Data Analysis Team. My job consists of manipulating and preparing mobile and fixed line data for use in Tariff Analyser, before creating reports with recommendations based on the data analysed. I have a keen eye for detail, so I’m suited to my role. Having raised four kids, nothing much gets past me!
My role at Porrima is in the Data Analysis Team. I work with the other Data Analysts and report to David, our Data Analysis Manager. I am responsible for accurately and precisely cleansing mobile and fixed line data from PDF files so that we can analyse it in Tariff Analyser. I enjoy putting Tariff Analysis Reports together for our customers. The work is varied and takes a lot of concentration, especially as we work to strict deadlines, but I like the challenge because it keeps me on my toes!
I am responsible for managing our company’s marketing; I spend my time coordinating, implementing, and leading the marketing campaigns.
