Port Engineering was founded by Steven and Nicola Arnold with the aim of providing high quality welding and engineering services to marine and land based companies located on and using the Milford Haven waterway.
Their drive and enthusiasm, backed by an experienced workforce with a strong work ethic has seen the company diversify into some of the ongoing major construction sites around Pembrokeshire and consequently the company has expanded beyond initial expectations.
Steven Arnold (Managing Director) is a qualified welding inspector with over 20 years worldwide experience in the field of steel fabrication and mechanical engineering. Prior to the inception of Port Engineering, Steven was Assistant Manager at Milford Haven Ship Repairers where he was responsible for all aspects of ship repair operations.Steven’s depth of experience and reputation within the industry coupled with his progressive and flexible attitude in terms of meeting customers requirements have ensured that that Port Engineering remains the favoured choice for all existing and new clients.
Nicola Arnold (Company Secretary) is directly responsible for the company’s accounts, marketing and PR. Nicola looks after the day to day running of a busy office and her previous experience has engendered strong relationships with customers and suppliers alike.
Adrian Owens (Business Development Manager) is responsible for the implementation of the company’s Safety Management, Quality and Environmental systems. An honours graduate with an initial background within the construction industry, working on major projects for the MOD, petrochemical companies and local authorities, Adrian has joined the Company following twelve years in a managerial position within the ports industry.
Based at Milford Haven, in a hi-tech workshop, with motivated and highly skilled tradesmen coded to British and American standards, backed by a professional management team, we are confident that we are able to meet all your steel fabrication and mechanical engineering requirements.
