cHRysos HR Solutions Limited was formed in 2007 by four colleagues wishing to pool their experience and expertise in the field of competence-based learning. We are now a thriving business specialising in the delivery of HR and Management-related training, professional qualifications and HR and business projects and services.
In addition, we offer business and HR consultancy services including executive and performance coaching, bespoke leadership and personal development programmes and SME HR support and interim services. We offer support to businesses without a HR Department, to address people management issues and ensure that the right policies and procedures are in place.
Before joining cHRysos HR, Sheila worked in Higher Education for 6 years as a tutor, programme leader and most recently Head of a Business School. She has developed and delivered a range of bespoke HR and leadership/management programmes to meet changing business and client needs. A learner-centred and business-focused approach is at the heart of her delivery. Her learning and development experience also incorporates undergraduate, professional and post-graduate accredited programmes.
Andrea has obtained her Masters in Human Resource Management, PGCE and counselling qualifications to compliment her CIPD qualifications.
Working closely with SME’s Andrea acts as a practitioner, aiming to support clients with pragmatic and business focused guidance.
Accountant and Business Adviser
John has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales for over twenty-five years and set up his own successful practice in Retford shortly after qualification. He has been involved with cHRysos HR since its inception and provides accountancy services, payroll processing and tax advice to the company.
Chairman and Company Secretary
With over 40 years HR experience in various organisations including Electricity Generation, Air Transport and the Oil Industry. Alec's strengths include employee relations and employment law. Alec has and currently holds a number of positions including Directorships and company secretary. Alec's academic background includes various teaching and external examiner's posts throughout the UK during the last ten years.
Janice has 35 years’ experience in accounting and office administration and is a Fellow (Founder) member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. Her background is Local Authority based but she has considerable experience of working with small to medium sized private businesses. Janice has been working with cHRysos HR Solutions since 2007.
Sarah graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University where she studied Business Administration.
She now has 6 years office administration experience, working for a range of businesses and has recently returned from travelling in Australia for 2 years.
Kate began her career in the field of training within the public sector over 30 years ago, progressing to the retail and clothing industry sectors before forming her own company which designed and delivered customised training solutions. Clients then included several major UK organisations, as diverse as the Co-operative Group and Tarmac Construction, and public sector short courses on behalf of the Police, local government as well as many SME's. Kate ventured into college lecturing as another string to her bow over 20 years ago and has taught to postgraduate level, with subject specialisms including organisational behaviour, learning and development and performance management.
Gary is currently Group HR & OD Integration Lead for The Torus Group, but will be taking up the role of HR Director at Trafford College at the end of February 2016. Prior to that, he was Head of HR & OD for Golden Gates Housing Trust for 11 years, and also has experience of working in HR roles in Further Education, a call centre, a national charity and an international pharmaceuticals company. Originally Gary started out as a secondary school teacher and has continued to teach on professional qualifications (CIPD, CIH, ILM) for various Colleges and other organisations on a regular basis. He speaks regularly at conferences and events about leadership and HR matters, delivers training, coaching, consulting on a freelance basis and is involved in mentoring aspiring housing and HR professionals.
