Engineering Architecture offers an advantage over other practices as all of the design is carried out by both Architect and Engineer together. This results in proposals with improved buildability and structural advantages from the offset. Such an approach also leads to lower costs and programme certainty in the early stages of a project.

The practice employs its own draughting team and is in the process of recruiting another full time Architect. We are able to offer any level of service from a few hours consultancy to the full set of RIBA work stages.

In 2013 we retained Engineering Architecture Ltd to help us remodel our Grade II listed building in the centre of Petersfield. They did an excellent job in all aspects of the work: design, structural engineering, securing planning permission, and over seeing a difficult reconstruction. The work involved creating a large new kitchen from two smaller rooms, remodelling two bathrooms and installing a new central heating system. In our view Engineering Architecture has the special skills needed to ensure that modern facilities introduced into an older building blend in. We were particularly impressed with their creative approach to the use of space, and how to fit changes of use to accommodate our wishes.
