Daniel researches new destinations for future One Traveller holidays using over 18 years experience as a Tour Manager. The southern US states are a true passion for Daniel with his extensive love of music, the rich history and culture that is like no other in North America. Whilst more office based he refuses to give up showing people his favourite region. Daniel knows the greatest places to eat, shop, museums to visit, enjoy live music and as a clarinet player somewhat fond of true New Orleans Jazz.
A Tour Manager worldwide for nine years, Ian created One Traveller with Emma to cater solely for mature single travellers. Ian used to escort all One Traveller holidays (in the early days) however now finds it harder and harder to leave the office but sometimes sees groups off at the airport so he can meet and thank our guests. A linguist with a keen eye for detail, Ian is half-Czech and he has a passion for his mother's country, which is why One Traveller's Prague vacation is an excellent first solo holiday.
Emma Darkin - Company Secretary
Emma is the administrative backbone of One Traveller and has been with One Traveller since day one, when it was run from an apartment in Rushden. Her knowledge and understanding of our guests’ requirements is extensive. Born in Norfolk, she is a big fan of her home county.
Daniel Henry Adams - Business Development Manager
Rebecca has more than a decade’s experience in the single travel market. As well as ensuring the office runs smoothly and handling all flights, she looks after our Tour Managers, dealing with their administration – and ensuring they are a happy bunch! Rebecca loves working for One Traveller as she had always admired our customer-led ethos and had always aspired to live in Norfolk.
Nicky Holder - Product Manager
Nicky has worked in the single travel market for more than 16 years, and her personal travel highlights include visiting beautiful Barcelona, St Petersburg and the beautiful sights within our own country. She is an experienced Tour Manager both on land and on cruises. Working alongside Daniel, Nicky researches and plans new and existing holidays, making sure they are perfect for our guests. Nicky recently moved to Norfolk from Northamptonshire and loves her new county.
Ben joined One Traveller to manage and develop our website. He fully understands the trepidation felt by first-time solo travellers and enjoys sharing knowledge and advice with guests. Ben is happy to answer any questions you have about the holidays, no matter how trivial they may seem.
Karl Buck - Product Manager
Karl joined One Traveller in January 2016 having worked in countries across the world assisting travellers in getting the most out of their holiday. Originally from Norfolk and having spent the past 18 years living overseas and in various parts of the UK, Karl has now found himself back in his home county. Karl has brought his personal passion for Italy to our new Sicily and Rome holidays together with his interest in Eastern European countries which he also manages. Along with Nicky and Daniel, Karl researches, plans and personally inspects new holidays whilst maintaining our existing ones.
Kerry's main role is to look after the administration that goes on in the office where her attention to detail is much appreciated. She is keen to learn as many aspects of the business as possible. A born and bred Londoner Kerry spent a short while in Essex & Scotland before making the Norfolk Countryside her new home.
