ABOUT REDMILL COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED

Prior to founding Redmill Marketing Associates, Guy held business development, product marketing and management roles in a number of companies, including Cantata, Brooktrout Technology and Telesoft Technologies.

He has been involved with the complete life cycle of telecoms products, from development through to product validation, installation and interconnection with public networks.Guy holds an MSc from Bath University and a BSc from the University of Leeds.

Alex joined us in the spring of 2012 to take on responsibility for a variety of marketing tasks. Alex is a recent graduate who enjoys the challenge of learning new skills and has quickly made himself indispensable in the role of marketing manager. He brings a unique perspective to our business and provides us with a broad and growing marketing skill set to call upon.

He's also the main point of contact for SharpSpring, our marketing automation platform, and is tasked with bringing automation to all areas of our business.

Improving customer experience is a key goal across all industries and there’s been a good deal of innovation in the field over the last couple of years. Of course, mobile operators are trying to deliver better experiences to their customers and many have rushed to trumpet their investments in areas such as data analytics and customer experience management. Some of these have yielded positive results, but technology alone isn’t the answer. Rich analytics mean little if they can’t get the basics right, as we discovered when our provider invited me to participate in a satisfaction survey recently.

Notably, 5G – following the hugely significant approval of the first 5G NR specifications by the 3GPP in December – touched almost every product and application announcement at the show from health monitors to infotainment systems and autonomous cars.
