Leziate Drove Garage Ltd was started in 1985 by the current owner Chris Spragg. The business was established in Grimston from a small, pre-fabricated building behind Chris’s parents' house
Eventually, in 1999, planning permission was granted to build an MOT test station and repair shop. Building started in June 2000 and the new garage opened in January 2001.
As before, the business continued to grow, with another extension and MOT bay built in 2008.
The business has moved on from the small garage with one ramp to a large garage with seven ramps, one pit, two MOT bays and eight full time staff. We now carry out in excess of 3,000 MOTs a year.
