Moor Cottage is an attractive eighteenth century house with a beautiful garden. The house provides a superb venue for teaching and events. The dedicated class rooms are equipped with teaching aids and a library.

Manchester Language School has a full-time Principal (Judith Godfrey) and Administrator (Bill Godfrey). They are assisted by Neil Ashford (senior tutor) and Diana Rosenthal plus a team of specialist part-time teachers.

Manchester is surrounded by four National Parks and several historic cities. The English Lake District is only 90 minutes from Manchester. MLS selects destinations on the basis of clients’ interests and requests. Most courses include a minimum of two excursions per week. Additional excursions e.g. London, Edinburgh, Stratford-upon-Avon may be booked with our help.

Manchester Language School provides one-to-four week, residential, total immersion English courses for adults. High quality teaching combined with unique social programmes and the personal involvement of the proprietors guarantee that good progress is made in a short time.
Courses take place in Moor Cottage, Didsbury south Manchester – a tranquil learning environment in a dynamic city. Learners select from a menu which includes Business English, General English, Study Holiday programmes, English Language Garden Tours, Literary Landscapes and specialist programmes such as In-Service Teacher Training.
At Manchester Language School learners study one-to-one or in a small group. Tailor-made courses can also be provided on request.
