Late in the evening of Friday I attended an injury 3 vehicle RTC that had occurred in Lane 3 of the eastbound M62 motorway. The ambulance crew from your company happened upon the incident and placed their Ambulance behind one of the crashed vehicles and activated their blue lights. This afforded protection to the stranded vehicle and warning to other motorists. While at scene they provided an initial medical assessment and great reassurance to three distressed young females. They remained at scene for some considerable time and were never reluctant to offer help where needed. In terms of motorway congestion this was a major incident. I am sure that your crews actions contributed greatly to public reassurance and to our ability to open the motorway earlier than would have been possible without them.
