Matt Jefferson is a seasoned sales leader with over 20 years corporate sales experience assisting the growth of small and medium sized businesses across the UK.
In his corporate career he led and managed successful sales teams across the UK and Europe in industries such as finance and leasing, insurance, affinity marketing, business finance, technology, and business research, combining sales management expertise with aggressive multi-million personal and team sales targets.
Now he uses this experience to advise and coach Managing Directors on sales matters from building high performance sales teams to implementing effective sales processes. He has worked in a huge variety of businesses utilising his transferrable sales skills and enjoys every aspect of sales. Much of his recent experience has been growing SME business services but he is comfortable in any industry as evidenced in recent years with software, IT services, Food, not for profit membership company, Big Data, cloud accounting, car leasing, engineering, and a mailing company!
Matt is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, a Member of the Institute of Interim Management and was an Approved Growth Accelerator Business Development Coach so still conducts coaching for Managing Directors. He has an Honours Degree in Social Anthropology and an MPhil from the University of Manchester. He lives in Hertfordshire and is married with two teenage children.
