SJ Aplin Playgrounds Ltd is a small family business with more than 20 years’ experience in planning, installing and maintaining high quality playground equipment.
The company is run by Steve and Viv Aplin from their headquarters next to the family home in the market town of Calne, Wiltshire.
Every site is personally visited and expertly appraised by Steve Aplin and every project is efficiently organised by his wife Viv. Working closely with the UK’s leading playground equipment manufacturers over the last two decades, S J Aplin Playgrounds Ltd has installed hundreds of playgrounds all over the UK.
Steve formed the company after a successful career as a Landscaping and Forestry Contracts Manager. Viv has a background in administration and management. Together they ensure that all S J Aplin Playgrounds Ltd clients can expect personal and highly skilled attention, however big or small the job.
Their small team of specially trained playground installers all have CSCS & CPCS cards (Construction Skills competencies in Health & Safety, and Plant Operation), are CRB checked and the company is accredited to Constructionline.
Service, Safety and Quality – Those three words should be the benchmark for everyone involved in providing and maintaining play equipment. Calne Town Council have now worked with Steve Aplin Playground Services for over ten years, and would be willing to tick every box and more. In addition to the service, safety and quality, we have received value for money, deadlines are always met and the end products are amazing.
