V Selective Recruitment Our Story…
V Selective Ltd was established in April 2005 by Sadaf Alam and Ryan Vidor. Our passion is ‘People’, so that is our business!
Our motivation to come together and form V Selective was born from our personal experiences of both the ‘graduate job market’, and the way recruitment companies worked in general. Our experience was that of ‘CV shops’ who did not see people as… well people!
After graduating from Derby University in Business Management and Philosophy, we have both gained continuous and extensive experience within various recruitment sectors so between us we are able to discuss anything with you from a temporary requirement to a specialist headhunt.Being graduates ourselves and working within recruitment we noticed that so many skilled and articulate graduates were settling for lower level jobs due to their perceived lack of experience combined with their own urgency to pay off university debts. Here we saw the opportunity to create an organic consultancy that specialised in the recruitment of high calibre and ambitious students and graduates into degree related roles to maximise their full potential within the professional world.
In terms of the general recruitment industry, we felt that the most firms did not provide value for money to employers, or indeed a good service to candidates. We felt that by launching a new company with a fair pricing strategy, whilst also adopting a flexible and ‘human’ approach – we would in turn be a fresh of fresh air to employers and job seekers alike.
Since establishing our graduate desk in 2005, we have since diversified into providing staff at all levels to the commercial sector. Our steady growth has continued, and we have since launched specialist Technical, Training and Commercial Sector desks – employing specialist consultants who share the V Selective ethos.
