ABOUT PARSLOE CONSULTING LIMITED
Parsloe Consulting Ltd was formed in 2003 by Chris Parsloe after successful periods in building services design and research. Chris is a well known technical author whose name appears in numerous industry guides and codes relating to the design and commissioning of pipework systems.
For the first ten years of its existence, the company has focussed on trouble-shooting and expert witness work. Since 2013, the emphasis has changed to offering more preventative solutions such as software, training, design reviews and technical support.
We remain a small independent company but have links with other experts that we can call upon to support us in various related fields. These mutual collaborations mean that we can provide coherent opinions on issues that might overlap between several areas of expertise. We consider this approach of collaboration essential to our operation since it would be highly unusual to find top experts in each of these fields working for the same organisation.
Our particular commitment for 2014 onwards is to improve the utilisation of low carbon heart sources such as combined heat and power and biomass boilers. These products can significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions but in the majority of systems we encounter, the savings fail to materialise because either system layouts are unsuitable, operating temperatures are inappropriate or system flow rates are not properly controlled.
