About XBG Plumbing & Heating Ltd
Xbg Plumbing & Heating was born in the spring of 2003 by two former British Gas employees, Mark Murphy and Lee Stafford.
It has always been the companys vision to employ youth and to provide them with the neccessary training to shine within the industry.
Mark first joined the industry in 1991 starting his apprentiship with British Gas. In his first year Mark was awarded the Apprentice of the Year award, and went on to become a Service Engineer specialising in Central Heating / Boiler breakdowns. Mark left British Gas in the summer of 2003 to establish Xbg and is now responsible for the Service and Maintanance department of the business.
Lee joined British Gas full time in 1992 after a spell on work experience during the previous year. Lee was also a winner of the Apprentice of the Year award and went on to establish himself as a key member of the British Gas team. Lee left British Gas in 2003 to establish Xbg and is now responsible for the Sales and Installation side of the business.
Christian is the newest member of the team joining in the summer of 2010. Again a school work placement gave Christian the opportunity to shine and he impressed so much he was invited to join the team following his exam results confirming him a college place. Christian starts this September on his level 1 Plumbing Qualifications.
Lauren joined Xbg in 2010 to help with the running of the new office. Lauren will be there to deal with your enquiries and be an immediate point of contact for the customer and to assist with the efficient running of the business.
