Vehicle, Plant and Tool Hire has been available from the current site in Sevenoaks for over 25 years. Rawstone Hire Ltd is a family owned private company with joint directors/shareholders who have many years experience within the industry.
The Company’s head office is based at Godstone in Surrey from which it operates Plant Hire and Tool Hire. The extensive Godstone site also incorporates the company’s accounts department and management offices, main company workshops and equipment storage together with the company’s heavy goods delivery vehicles.
Rawstone Hire is an expanding company which is always keen to search out new products for inclusion in its hire portfolio and has numerous customers from many core business sectors. We also serve the general public in a fair and reasonable manner. Vehicle Hire, in particular Van Hire, is an expanding business for the Company which operates a fleet of vehicles, normally less than 18 months old, and prides itself in providing an honest first class service to its customers.
We aim to provide a competitive pricing structure with a “No Hidden Extras” policy in respect of vehicle hire, the price you are quoted will be the price we charge subject to the vehicle being returned in the same condition as supplied. We don’t aim to be the cheapest, we don’t aim to be the dearest – we do aim to supply our customers with the latest vehicles and provide an excellent service which will make you want to come back next time.
We are open from 07.30 – 17.30 weekdays and 08.00 – 12.00 Saturdays. Vehicle hire times are normally from 08.00am to 8.00am the following day.
Do you provide breakdown cover?
We provide full 24-hour breakdown cover at no extra cost. Full instructions are provided with your hire vehicle, telling you what you need to do in the event of a problem occurring with your car or van.
All hire vehicles are provided on a 'return it as you find it' basis. We provide the vehicle to you with an amount of fuel and you return with the same amount as received. This means that there are no fuel deposits or additional costs to pay on returning the vehicle.
No, our hire vehicles are provided with unlimited mileage with the exception of foreign use which is subject to a mileage surcharge over 500 miles travel.
