About Solidity

We are a family run Solid Surface manufacturing company based in High Wycombe. Corian, HI-MACS and Krion fabrication uses joinery skills and we have a team of highly trained permanent staff who make your projects in our workshop.

Solidity was started 13 years ago by a husband and wife team who had both worked previously in the Solid Surface industry. Katie Cook worked with her father, David Axworthy (one of the first people to work with Corian when it was introduced to the UK in the 1980s), from childhood so Corian is in her blood. Chris Cook, a chemical engineer by profession, swapped places with his wife, leaving his consulting role in bio-technology to do something more enjoyable. Both are now involved in the day to day running of Solidity.

Chris' engineering background brought huge innovations to the Solid Surface industry. Solidity was the first UK Solid Surface fabricator to specialise in bathrooms, inventing the first reliable wet room floor system. Our shower trays are still the best in the marketplace and the only ones with a 15 year warranty for both material and manufacture. We not only work in the bathroom industry but are also now known as the go to fabricator for the most difficult and complicated jobs across all sectors.
