Here at Klas Day Nursery, we provide exceptional childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We offer a fun and stimulating environment for all of our children.
Before your child starts nursery we have a settling in period of 2 short sessions, which we find helps enormously. You will be given a questionnaire to complete – “All about Me” – giving us valuable information about your child.
If you have a particular interest or skill you wish to share with the children, we are always open to suggestions
Here at Klas we aim to provide all our children with a wide range of additional activities. We are constantly reviewing the timetable of the nursery with a view to introducing new activities which would be suitable for children of all ages.
These provide the children with an exciting programme which encourages the childrens interest in the French language and culture.
As well as trips out we are fortunate enough to have the beautiful Bell Plantation on our doorstep, with the winning addition of the reptile shop. The children also benefit from outings to the library joining in with various sessions and reading stories.
Klas nursery has a firm commitment to children with special needs. Our nursery manager is Portage trained as well as our SENCO representative. Each child is encouraged to take part in the nursery activities with consideration given to those who may require help and support.
We aim to provide a healthy and well balanced diet for your child, and all the food is freshly prepared and cooked on the premises. We have been awarded the Healthy Heartbeat Award.
Your child’s learning is carefully planned, ensuring the best possible start in life. We endeavour to provide the best facilities and have excellent resources including Heuristic play.
