Based around the founding principles of very high quality, and excellent service, our founder, Mr Derek Burt, has shaped the company calling upon a lifetime of industry knowledge and experience, along with a unique passion for customer satisfaction to develop a business which sets the standards for others to follow.
As the company has evolved, and technology developed, IDEAL Marble has continued to embrace this change through continuous investment in both premises and equipment as well as personnel, and is proud to be at the forefront of developments in material selection working closely with the countries’ leading Architects and Interior Designers, whilst still retaining focus on the exceptional quality cost and programme efficiency.
More recently IDEAL Marble have established www.naturalstone.co.uk an internet based company to supply stone tiles of the highest quality at the best possible prices.
The IDEAL Marble showroom in York has over 50 different types of Marble, Granite, Slate and Limestone our dedicated, experienced consultants are on hand to guide you through the material selection process. We are situated from our customer friendly only 10 minutes from York center and 1 mile from the Grimston Bar roundabout on the A64 minutes on the A166 road between York and Stamford Bridge in the beautiful village of Dunnington
This thoroughly modern, purpose built showroom provides a safe and welcoming environment for visitors in which they can select their unique materials, or simply to develop ideas for future marble, granite, limestone and slate projects. With ample free visitors parking, our showroom is one of the largest in the UK entirely dedicated to Natural Materials and provides the perfect location to showcase our materials in pleasant surroundings.
