ABOUT CUSTARD CREATIVE LIMITED

We specialise in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and forensic histories. We are able to design and implement bespoke packages of care and support to promote independence, inclusion and well-being of clients with identified support needs to be able to live in the community.

Our aim is to provide a consistent approach tailored to meet individual needs of our clients. We have developed a model that capitalises on the strengths of a robust and well-resourced residential care service, and provide a springboard for clients to achieve progressive moves into supported living arrangements.

We assess clients with forensic histories, and are familiar with partnership working to support those who require Social Supervision or Conditional Discharge arrangements. It is not our practice to exclude candidates from consideration on the basis of their offending behaviour, and we are more concerned with their genuine potential for progress and the extent to which increasing independence needs to be balanced against risk reduction.

We have some additional projects in development during 2013 and 2014, which include a further 'shared house', a single person apartment, and a recreational space at Phoenix House, providing a cinema and gym. As a responsive organisation, we are eager to hear from clients and their families and professionals who feel that their needs are not being addressed by conventional services, and we will consider developing new strands of care in line with our concept of enabling our clients to lead safe and fulfilled lives.
