Kevin better known as ‘Mowbray’ in the industry, has more than 30 years of experience in the Agricultural machinery trade. Previously having worked with Simba, Alo and Grimme, he joins us to support and further develop our relationship with both new and current dealer partners in the West of England, whilst also increasing the Monosem product range awareness to potential customers.
Jerry brings a depth of more than 30 years of experience from within the agricultural spare parts business. Well known by dealers and farmers throughout Norfolk, having previously worked for two well known Norfolk dealers (one a Monosem dealer), and recently a large farmer buying co-operative, his knowledge and experience will help maintain and further develop Toucan’s spare parts and product support, along with the company’s continued growth.
Each metering unit has an electric motor driving the distributions via a notched belt. Without maintenance, this transmission takes up little space whilst conserving all inter-row possibilities. On the planters with more than 6 metering units, the power supply is ensured by a generator driven by the turbofan PTO shaft.
