Introduced to the industry in 1997 by Softbox Systems, a unique range of patented environmentally friendly products, offering many advantages over traditional insulated packaging systems. After the initial conception great interest was shown and the products soon became widely used throughout industries needing validated solutions, ensuring safe delivery of temperature sensitive goods.
Since 2006 Chilled Packaging have been manufacturing and distributing a range of products on behalf of Softbox and in 2010 the commercial decision was made for Chilled Packaging to acquire the food business from Softbox Systems. This commercially obvious decision benefits both businesses and it's respective customers, whilst strengthening the working partnership. Chilled Packaging will concentrate on supplying validated systems for the food sector and Softbox Systems will similarly concentrate on their core business in the Pharmaceutical & Biochemical industries, while acting as technology partners for Chilled Packaging.
