Our company was set up in 1998 when the core business was fulfilling the CDM Co-ordinator role on construction projects. Since this time we have expanded our business focus into a multidisciplinary health and safety consultancy working within the property and construction sectors across the UK.

Throughout the years we have provided health and safety consultancy services to firms operating in a wide number of property and construction sectors. Projects we have been involved with range from national management frameworks, major property developments, refurbishments, demolitions right down to small house extensions and alterations works. As Managing Director, Paul has overall responsibility and control of the company’s operations. Paul is a focused individual, who demonstrates exceptional organisational skills and is highly committed to ensuring that a high quality, reliable service is provided across all departments.
After obtaining a 2:1 BSc Honours Degree in Construction Management, Paul worked as a Site Manager for Taylor Woodrow before moving to Bovis Lend Lease where he worked as a Site Manager and later a Planning Supervisor. In 1998, Paul left Bovis Lend Lease and became the founding Director at Marpal.
Having joined Marpal in 2007 as a Senior CDM Co-ordinator, Tom became Associate Director in 2009. Since 2011, Tom has headed the Asbestos Management Department and has managed asbestos on behalf of a number of high profile Clients across their property portfolios.

John joined Marpal in 2008 as a CDM Consultant, Health & Safety Advisor and an Asbestos Surveyor. Since March 2016, John has become Joint Head of CDM Services. As well as coordinating the Department, John’s role involves allocating sufficient time and resources to various projects/ commissions and liaising with Clients.
