ABOUT AONIX LTD.

Ackers Adventure an independent charitable limited company that was established in 2005 to continuously expand on the aims and objectives of The Ackers Trust. The Ackers Trust was set up in 1981 and still continues to protect the site through Ackers Adventure. The objective of Ackers Adventure is to provide access to adventurous activities for the general benefit of initially the local community and then the inhabitants of other areas nationally in charitable ways. Ackers Adventure helps to achieve this providing all people with the opportunity to do dynamic adventurous activities that are fully instructed.

Ackers Adventure also benefits from the Grand Union Canal, which runs straight though the site making it an ideal location for water based activities such as canoe, kayak and bellboats. We also offer bridgering and abseiling from the bridge over the canal.

We've booked the Jungle Challenge & Bushcraft for an afternoon in September for the last three years. It's become a staple part of the induction week for our graduates to the firm now, and is probably the favourite part of their week! The instructors give just enough guidance and health & safety info so everyone knows what they are doing, but enough freedom so everyone can have fun too! Highly recommend.

Our first visit to Ackers Adventure with our charity, Reach. All the children had a fabulous time on both skis and toboggans. Our instructor was fantastic as were all the staff, including those who helped over the telephone when booking and with my (many) questions! Highly recommended and hope to visit again soon! Thank you!

Had a great time with the Jungle Challenge for our 6 year old's party. All staff very helpful. The famed Allan was busy that day, but Phil did a fab job, great with the children and extremely experienced. The children all wore hard hats, then crossed a low rock wall sort of thing, then into the 'jungle' for an obstacle course, kept them occupied and enjoying themselves. Highly recommended, thank you to all at Ackers, including Laura for her patient answers to my queries! There is lots more to do, including canoeing, zip wire and a tower drop, for our next party!

We have had 3 family ski lessons here and they have all been great! We all learnt at different speeds but the instructors managed to accommodate us all. Really good fun and we are now planning to have a birthday party here as it is such a good local gem!
