Riverside Feeds is a small, family run business, which means we can remain flexible and respond quickly to change – for instance, we will happily create feed to suit your animal’s specific needs. We work in a localised area of operation and have a small, but focused team of employees. We offer a complete range of feed, in bulk, tote bags and 25kg bags (delivered or collected), for youngstock, dairy herds, beef, sheep, pig and poultry and we operate a policy of fixed formulation, using quality raw materials, to ensure best animal performance.
For your peace of mind, we provide the complete range of technical support services expected from a modern feed business, including nutrition and ration planning, costings and silage analysis. Welcome to Riverside Feeds Ltd, manufacturers of high quality animal feeds.
Riverside Feeds was founded in 1996 and run as a family enterprise until December 2015 when another independent family company, Duffields, acquired the business.
Duffields, who celebrated 125 years trading in 2015, have pledged to maintain the title of Riverside Feeds for the foreseeable future and current staff will retain their roles, including Sally Dare, who continues in her position as General Manager. Since the acquisition two new staff members have been added to the workforce and we have also inherited the support of an established and experienced nutritional team.
Plans are underway to enhance the production capability at Riverside and significant investment is being allocated to achieve this aim. Our most recent expenditure was the purchase of a new office block (see news page) which we hope will provide both the staff and visitors with an improved working environment.
Both Riverside Feeds and Duffields share very similar core values and pride themselves on producing quality feeds from recognised raw materials and delivering a highly professional service with a personal touch. We still know our customers by name and not by their account number!
