In Feb 17 Peak celebrated 25 years in business. Since its founding the company has come a long way to become a leading manufacturer in Europe for liquid liners for IBCs/pallecons The company manufactures from 2 sites – the first in Ilkeston, Derbyshire (UK), the second in Bartoszyce in north eastern Poland.
Founded in 1992 the company operated from rented premises in Derbyshire producing bulk PP bags for the food sector. It grew out of these premises to its current site 2 years later and redirected resource and technology to the production of
for the emerging bag-in-box sector. The adoption of this bulk storage technology, as an alternative to traditional drums and rigid containers led to business growth in export markets, and for the need of a production site on the continent. To service overseas demand Peak Packaging Poland was founded in 2008.
Key to the filling and discharging of liquid product in the liner are
traditionally supplied from a different source. The demand for quality made fitments raised from the issues of traceability and food contact drove Peak’s decision to invest in its own injection moulding business. All our machines are in-house manufactured with no reliance on outside engineering resource. We are able to offer a totally self- sufficient contingency supply and full traceability of our products from ‘field to fork’.
Peak’s liners are used for the bulk storage and transportation of liquid product of most household brands. We deliver to customers on all continents and have representation in many countries.
