We are probably the longest established motorhome and camper manufacturer in the UK, having been established at Sidmouth, Devon, in 1956, converting the Volkswagen Transporter which still features in the line up today. However, we also offer a wider choice of base vehicle than many other manufacturers.
The Fiat Ducato, with its impressive Fiat-backed support network across Europe, is a core platform but we also utilise the Mercedes Benz Sprinter as well as the Ford Transit and Peugeot Boxer. All bring a wealth of options, including automatic transmission.
Devon Conversions has built an enviable reputation for design, quality, and value for money, as true today as it was almost 60 years ago. Under the same family ownership for the last 25 years,
we are based in a modern, spacious factory complex in County Durham where our showroom probably has the largest range of motorhome van conversions on display in the country.
Customers can also observe various stages of production from the showroom.

All new Devon Conversions motorhomes and campers are based on panel vans from major manufacturers. Because we specialize only in van conversions we are experts at optimising all the space available, using either factory hightop vans or adding our own hightops or elevating roofs. Design ingenuity ensures that a wealth of useful features are in every conversion, with luxury touches that are more frequently found on high-priced coachbuilt models from other makes.
