ABOUT COOPER RESEARCH TECHNOLOGY LIMITED

Established in 1990, Cooper Technology is a British company and one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of high performance testing equipment for asphalt, bitumen, concrete, cement, soil and aggregates used in civil engineering.

), designed in the 1980’s by our Chairman Keith Cooper whilst working at the University of Nottingham, was the first of its type. Since then our product range has increased steadily and now includes Gyratory Compactors and Roller Compactors to prepare and compact specimens in addition to Servo Hydraulic and Servo Pneumatic Universal Testers, Triaxial Testers,

As a customer focused business, we listen. The Cooper Technology approach is to first establish customer requirements and then to offer best advice on the options available in order that customers can make informed decisions. We pride ourselves on working in partnership with customers rather than just “order taking”.

Via the use of 3D CAD packages we ensure our business is best positioned to utilise the most state-of-the-art geometrical modeling systems available. These systems further permit calculating customer specific solutions within the shortest possible time.

The team works according to the very latest norms in system technology. Our customers expect electronic products that have better quality, more flexibility and new features at a competitive price. To remain at the forefront of today’s market demands, we equip our design engineers with systems that deliver flexibility, high performance and reliability.

Our Mission & Vision - Cooper Technology

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to ensure that ‘Cooper Technology’ is the preferred first choice for all civil engineering test equipment users when purchasing new equipment

To attain global best practices and become a world-class civil engineering materials testing equipment company– guided by its purpose to move towards greater degree of sophistication and maturity.

To be an ‘Innovation’ driven company and consistently attain high growth with the highest levels of productivity.

The core values of our company have and will continue to propel our growth. We have always sought to be a value driven company and it is our core values that make us different. These core values are unaffected by the trends of the day or changing markets. We unequivocally state our core values because we want them practised throughout the organisation and understood by our employees, partners, customers and all stake holders.

Our commitment is a promise to our customers, employees, communities and all stakeholders that we will strive to make a positive contribution to the industry and economy overall while achieving our business goals.

We promise to provide world class products and services

We remain focussed on this core value as a means of meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers. As a result, we are able to outperform the competition and earn customer loyalty, providing the value and service beyond their expectations.

Cooper Technology assures highest standards of quality products and services. It is fundamental to our business and does not relate to the final products and services only but to the systems that we employ. Our systems are internationally recognized by ISO,

When choosing Cooper Technology as your business partner, you are also selecting our international reputation for competence, integrity and innovation. Each item of equipment is subject to rigorous quality tests at every stage of its design and manufacture to ensure that we provide our customers with an outstanding product.

Quality is fundamental to our activity; it not only relates to the final product but extends also to the systems we employ. Our systems are internationally recognised via ISO 9001:2008. Our certified partner in helping us achieve this recognition is BSI (British Standards Institute). For over 100 years, BSI has led the way in developing the concept of standards and ensuring that they are relevant to your business. No other certification body can offer the expertise, knowledge and recognition that is associated with a BSI certificate.

Cooper Technology strikes again; after winning the EEF’s Future Manufacturing Business Growth Award 2010, becomes International Business of the year for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Cooper was declared regional winner at the Roundhouse in Derby on the 26th of February 2010.

We strongly believe that our primary obligation or duty as corporate entity is to our stakeholders – we are just as mindful of the fact that this imperative does not exist in isolation; it is part of a much larger compact which we have with our entire body of stakeholders- from employees, customers, business partners, eco-system, local communities, and to society at large.

For us, being socially responsible is not an occasional act of charity or that one-time token financial contribution to the local school, hospital or environmental NGO. It is an ongoing year-round commitment, which is integrated into the very core of our business objectives and strategy.

Because we believe that there is no contradiction between doing well and doing right. Indeed, doing right is a necessary condition for doing well.
