R&S is built on a foundation of in-house engineering expertise, which we both recruit and nurture. We currently have 40 employees including five senior engineers. Almost all our engineers have one or more specialism including building services, petrochemical, process, mechanical and electrical engineering. All have a sound knowledge of, and respect for, business and commerce. Between them they provide a diverse range of services and have built a firm understanding of our clients’ requirements and operating parameters.
Our confidence in our staff means they have the power and authority to make decisions during a task or when solving a problem. This in turn streamlines your project and reinforces our staff’s firm commitment to completing your work to the highest standards.
Our philosophy is not to provide short-term fixes but to provide long-term solutions and value for money, which we build into our quality designs. Project work varies in size and nature, ranging from the installation of one-off air conditioning units to designing and installing complete factory facilities infrastructures. Our largest project to date had a value of c. £2.5m. Our experience allows us to fulfil the role of principal contractor, while our strong health and safety record ensures we offer quality services on time and safely.
Many commercial and industrial organisations are changing, employing fewer in-house engineers with the skills and knowledge to design, install, manage and maintain mechanical and electrical services. When you are looking to change or modify your existing systems or when you are looking to install new, turn to R&S. Allow us to take on this work and provide you with the system you want.
To help you determine what you need and how best to achieve this, we’re happy to offer an initial consultation at no charge. As highly experienced engineers we’re able to suggest the best solutions and, where appropriate, alternative ways to achieve your goals. This includes whether to repair or replace and how to future-proof and enhance your assets, all in line with changing regulations.
