We support the medical, scientific, industrial and consumer goods markets and have experience conforming to a wide range of process based regulatory standards such as IEC 62366 (medical usability), ISO 14971 (risk management) and ISO 13485 based QMS and technical files. We have experience developing products to comply with specific standards such as IEC 60601 (medical devices), IEC 61010 (laboratory equipment) and ISO 10993 (bio-compatibility).
We offer a turnkey product development service working with our network of partner companies for software & electronics, IP & regulatory consultancy, test houses, sourcing and manufacturing in Europe and the far East. We also provide consultancy services including market assessment, product development strategies, funding applications, technology scouting, technical due diligence and portfolio assessment. We often work with universities, research groups and hospitals with innovation clinics and brainstorming sessions to assess and direct the most promising technologies.
We have strong links with Chinese companies and organisations, including developing products for the local Chinese market. We have a network of prototype and series production partners to support our product development and smooth transition into series manufacture for our clients. We also have a Chinese funding partnership that is actively looking for and investing in European innovation projects through Maddison.
