Polar Systems was established by Peter Gamble, a design engineer with a passion for developing new processing systems, in 1986. The inaugural design was the world’s first fully
, commissioned for a local King’s Lynn seafood processing company.
Since then the company has grown to a workforce of over 50 people, including designers, project engineers, control and automation electrical engineers, machine centre programmers, CNC Profiling Programmers, fabrication and machine shop engineers and on-site installation teams. Polar operates from a 22,000 square foot, state of the art manufacturing facility.
With an emphasis on engineering solutions and continual investment in people, plant and technologies, Polar Systems are committed to, and synonymous with high quality, attention to detail, research and development. Find Polar Systems in King’s Lynn
At the Hardwick roundabout, pass Frankie & Benny’s, Curry’s and PC World on your left, keeping in the far right hand lane and heading towards the large Sainsbury’s store. Turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto Scania Way, passing Sainsbury’s on your right. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit and follow this road to the T-Junction. Take a right turn onto Oldmedow Road (Screwfix will be on your left). Travel approx. 400 metres and Polar Systems is on the left. Please report to Reception on your arrival.
King’s Lynn has good rail connections from London King’s Cross (1h 40m). If you are travelling from the north of the UK by rail, the main change to King’s Lynn is from Ely (30m from King’s Lynn). From King’s Lynn train station, Polar Systems is a short 5 min drive to the Hardwick Industrial Estate.
