ABOUT VINYLINE
Vinyline has been trading for over thirty years. During this time we have recruited and developed a specialist team of creative designers and installers to supply high large format print solutions and advertising material to national organisations, local authorities, design agencies and trade customers throughout Great Britain.
Vinyline have an enviable background in the vinyl graphics industry, having bought the very first plotter/cutter sold outside the USA in the spring of 1983. This influenced a sign and graphics revolution that Vinyline are proud to acknowledge was something that they have played a massive part in.
Historically, Vinyline was ‘born’ from a print/graphics background which means that it was relatively easy to make the transition to the modern and revolutionary process that exists today, which in turn led to us being awarded the 1988 esteemed Fasson Trophy. This award was won for the best design, application and use of self-adhesive graphics to a vehicle in that year and is still regarded as the Blue Riband of the Sign Industry today.
The intervening years have seen a steady increase in our fortunes – bigger and better premises, a more prestigious client base, and consequently, much bigger projects. One of our most outstanding projects was awarded to us after winning the contract, against the rest of the European Sign Industry, to manufacture and install 45,000 sq. metres of self-adhesive vinyl to the outside of 212 pavilions at Expo ’98 in Lisbon, Portugal. This is still considered the largest ever project by a British Company and we were also required to supervise and manage a large number of Portuguese staff, as well as our own installation teams, over a five month long period.
2002 saw Vinyline heavily involved with both production and installation for ourselves, whilst also working in conjunction with various other UK Sign Companies, during the Commonwealth Games project in Manchester.
Vinyline was also named as Craftsmen of the Year 2005 at the British Sign Industry Awards, for the stunning window graphics at Selfridges in Exchange Square, Manchester. This involved converting the artwork of the world renowned Brazilian artist, Beatriz Milhazes, into a 50’ x 100’ vinyl façade, consisting of 12 different types and shades of vinyl.
Vinyline now fully encompass the whole range of graphics and signage, from the smallest engraved label to warning signs, site boards, hoardings, full colour digital print, vehicle graphics, banners and building wraps.
‘Process through Innovation’ describes our approach to the use of the very latest technology, equipment and materials, whilst ensuring their integration with the highest standards of traditional quality and established production techniques.
This unique policy has resulted in client loyalty, repeat orders and extended contracts much envied in the industry. While vinyl graphics have become our speciality, the digital print product range is varied and wide ranging. We utilise materials selected to suit the end use and environment. These materials include multiple grades of self-adhesive vinyl, foam PVC, aluminium, composites, plywood, acrylic and fabrics as well as traditional brass and hardwoods.
Customer input and consultation are all part of our “open house” policy. We often hold open days to enable customers to see the production techniques in action.
There is no need to wait for your invitation, we welcome visitors at any time, however, do make an appointment. This will enable us to ensure that you see the processes and products appropriate to your needs.

I have been very impressed by the high level of service offered by Vinyline. They provide many helpful suggestions that enhance the design of the product, and worked hard to meet our specifications. The High quality proofs they produce, greatly help our staff and the client envisage how the final product will look. Vinyline are also extremely helpful during the installation process and are able to work to tight schedules and deadlines. The staff at Vinyline are a pleasure to work with and go above and beyond in helping us achieve a quality product.

Dave Smith, Business Development Manager
I was very satisfied on the overall management of projects undertaken by the company on behalf of BCR. Any issues which arose during the contracts were dealt with satisfactorily and there were no major problems.
More than satisfied with all aspects of our alliance. The quality and professionalism of the Vinyline staff and installers is more than equal to any small issues that occur during any lengthy project, and are always dealt with quickly & efficiently. The 10 year duration of our working relationship speaks for itself. The number of amazing projects that we have shared and produced together is very satisfying, and we can only look forward to more projects in the future.
We have worked with Vinyline for 30 years or more. Yes, we have worked with many others too, but none have matched the service and quality that Vinyline provides. They constantly come up new processes and new ideas all of which have been a huge bonus to us as a creative agency. Above all else I like to think we have become close friends with a shared goal of delivering the very best.
