Danbury Oils was founded in 1982 and moved to its current location in Heybridge Essex in 1987.
From the outset the company focus was to provide a premium quality product and first class service at a cost effective price. Viking branded oils have always been British refined Rapeseed oil, we do not purchase cheaper Rapeseed from Eastern Europe, we are therefore confident in the quality of the product we provide.
Company policy has always been to fully inform the customer about the oil they are buying, we offer Soya Bean oil as an alternative to Rapeseed oil but do not hide behind the label of vegatable oil, making sure the customer understands the implications regarding their choice. As the vast majority of Soya Bean oil sold in the UK is from genetically modified sources we have always felt it is important that a customer is able to make an informed decision when making a purchase.
In recent years we have seen a huge increase in small companies supplying edible oils with the sole intention of collecting the waste. Service has suffered and the quality of some of the oil provided has been shocking. It is to this end we have decided to extend our services to the end user, providing a premium product and service direct to the end user at a wholesale price.
We are a small family business where traditional values and service are important.

In 2015 we are expanding our service, we have new vehicles coming on-line and are providing services direct to the end user, so pubs, clubs, resturants and fast food centres can now benefit from the same first class service at a wholesale price
Our Viking Brand oils are GM free British refined Rapeseed Oil and we can provide containers in a range from 1litre to 1000litres
We can provide a full service delivering fresh high quality oils and fats and removing used cooking oils from your business premises
