Located on the South Coast in Hampshire, Davtrend Limited have occupied their present premises since 1988. Farlington is on the outskirts of Portsmouth, and overlooks Portsea Island and the Solent. Portsmouth is, of course, the home of Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard which houses Nelson’s Flagship HMS Victory, together with the first ironclad warship HMS Warrior, and Henry VIII’s favourite flagship the Mary Rose.
David, born and educated in Glasgow, graduated from it’s University in 1972 with a B.Sc. in Physics and an interest in electronics. He joined The Plessey Company in 1972 and gained a wide experience of edge of technology electronics design. In 1975 he left Plessey and completed a post graduate course in Management Studies at Glasgow University. He returned to Plessey briefly before leaving to join Schlumberger Inc., in 1977 where he worked in the Middle East on a number of petrochemical projects. Keen to start his own business, David returned to Portsmouth and in 1980 Davtrend Limited was formed.

Follow for 0.25 miles and turn right into Fitzherbert Spur. Follow road for 0.2 miles. We are on left side of road.
Approaching from east or west on A27, exit at A2030. Travel north for 0.5 miles and turn right at the second set of traffic lights into Fitzherbert Road. After 0.4 miles turn left into Fitzherbert Spur and follow road for 0.2 miles. We are on left side of road.
