About Williams Self Drive Services
Originally founded in 1897 as a small business in Shepton Mallet providing the hire of horse-drawn vehicles and bicycles, Williams Self Drive Services Ltd has grown into a major hire group with depots across Somerset and Wiltshire.
Almost 120 years later, one of our two main depots is still located in Shepton Mallet, from where we provide a wide range of current model vehicles for hire at competitive rates. Our wide range of current model vehicles, including Cars, SUVs, Vans, Trucks, MPVs, Minibuses and Specialist Trucks of all types and sizes, will provide exactly what you need for any occasion be it a van for a house move or a car for a weekend away.
As well as providing vehicles for short and medium hire periods to the public, we also hire vehicles to businesses of all sizes, including specialist vehicles specifically designed for a designated purpose. These hires can range from supplying a van for a day to enable you to continue serving your customers while your own vehicle is being maintained, to medium-term hire of a vehicle to a particular specification to enable you to service a specific contract.
