ABOUT BUCKMINSTER GLIDING CLUB LIMITED
Fantastic day experiencing gliding. Helpful and very friendly instructor and grounds staff. I had 3 flights in total with both types of launch. Was instructed how to turn and control the glider as well as taking control for a few moments. Very e coving day.
Everyone at the club both members and instructors alike are very friendly and very helpful. They cater for all abilities and the training course is not to strenuous but extremely effective. Would definitely recommend the club to anyone whether it be for a fun day out or to complete the solo glider pilot training.
We are a friendly and expert bunch of glider pilots who soar over the Vale of Belvoir and Rutland Water. If you'd like to experience silent flight, buy a voucher or come and watch. Flying a sail plane is not unlike skippering a yacht, you feel the air moving and use your skills to climb in those invisible thermals. Flying under a clear canopy gives the feeling of getting your head under the clouds.
